MANUEL TÉVAR

Conductor, pianist, and composer, winner of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando Award, the only musician, alongside Manuel de Falla, to receive this honor, and First Prize at the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition in New York.

Recognized for his international career, Tévar has established himself as one of the most important Spanish musicians of his generation. He has conducted, among others, Sofia Philarmonic (National Orchestra of Bulgaria), I Musicisti della Scala di Milano, North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Kazakhstan State Symphony Orchestra Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the CRR Istanbul Chamber Orchestra, the Sicilian Polyphonic Camerata, the Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, the San Remo Symphony Orchestra, and the United Nations Youth Ensemble. Tévar is the artistic director of the Atlántida Chamber Orchestra and several international music festivals in Spain.

He has performed at prestigious venues and festivals such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Rudolfinum in Prague, the Palacio de Foz in Lisbon, Wiener Konzerthaus, Palais des Academies in Brussels, among many others worldwide. In Spain, notable venues include the National Auditorium in Madrid, the Royal Theatre, Miguel Delibes Auditorium, the Monumental Theatre, Juan March Foundation, Palau de la Música in Barcelona, Palau de la Música in Valencia, the Botín Foundation, MNCARS, the Segovia Festival, the Cádiz Spanish Music Festival, and the ENSEMS Festival… always receiving extraordinary critical and public acclaim.

His agenda as a conductor takes him to stages around the world, achieving success at each one. After his recent debut at the Berlin Philharmonie and Smetana Hall in Prague, he has engagements in the coming months across Europe, Asia, and America, including venues such as the Salzburg Mozarteum, Tonhaller Zurich or Musikverein Golden Hall, with or orchestras such as Budapest Symphony Orchestra or Thüringer Symphoniker.
