AVIDO DUO
Formed in 2015 and based in Vienna, AVIDO Duo, consisting of Alvaro Collao León Saxophone and Djordje Davidovic Accordion, started from the very beginning with big steps. Having won prizes at competitions in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA), Osaka (Japan) and given successful performances around the world, AVIDO Duo has brought something new on classical musical scene. Formed by two talented musicians, represents a wide palette of sounds, rhythms, melodies and ornaments of their times. They have an ability to create a strong and unique way of feeling and performing the music, connecting the scenic art with outstanding works of Baroque, Classical and ‘crossover’ music interpreted by saxophones and accordions. AVIDO Duo offers its audiences an opportunity to travel through different époques with a particular sonority of their instruments.
Alvaro Collao León Saxophone
Chilean musician based in Vienna-Austria. He is the founder and artistic director of the Tarapacá international music festival and ChileSaxFest. His saxophone and music studies have taken place in the University of Chile with Miguel Villafruela, at the Conservatoire of Bordeaux with Marie Bernadette Charrier and at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna(MUK) with Lars Mlekusch. He has performed in renowned orchestras, ensambles and venues in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe, including the Klangforum Wien, ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien, Tonkünstler Orchestra, National symphony orchestra of Chile, Stadttheater Klagenfurt, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Wiener Konzerthaus, Wiener Musikverein, Salzburg Mozarteum – Großer Saal, Vienna Volksoper, Taipei National hall, Gasteig of Munich and Teatro del Lago Chile. He is in cooperation with the Vienna PHACE Ensemble, ÖENM Österreich Ensemble für Neue Musik, Orchester Volkoper, Vienna Saxophonic Orchestra and FIVE SAX.

Djordje Davidovic Accordion
Is a Serbian accordionist, awarded several times by Mayor of Niš, Republic of Serbia as one of the most successful young artists in Serbia. Born in 1994,he expressed interest for music and accordion since the age of five. He finished his Bachelor Studies at Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna with Grzegorz Stopa. There, he continued his Master Studies with the same professor, studying at the same time with the most prominent name in accordion world, Mie Miki, as part of ERASMUS study exchange program. His career is distinguished by more than 30 1st and 2nd prizes at the significant international competitions.
Djordje has performed in almost every country in Europe, as well as in countries of North and South America and Asia. Djordje plays both the piano accordion and the button accordion, allowing his repertoire to spawn from music of Baroque and Romanticism, over classical pieces composed for accordion, up to modern music and traditional music of Balkan region.
