MARCO CADARIO

Allievo al Conservatorio “G. Verdi” di Milano, a diciannove anni si è diplomato in pianoforte nella classe del M° Alberto Colombo. Ha seguito Corsi e Seminari Internazionali di Perfezionamento pianistico tenuti dai Maestri V. Balzani, S. Iwasaki, A. Ciccolini, V. Ashkenazy e S. Perticaroli.

Si è diplomato in “Fortepiano e pianoforte romantico” presso la prestigiosa Accademia Pianistica Internazionale di Imola “Incontri col Maestro”, sotto la guida del M° Stefano Fiuzzi.

Ha condotto ricerche teorico-pratiche sui compositori di musica per “organo italiano” dei secoli XVIII e XIX ed in particolare su Padre Davide da Bergamo. Le sue interpretazioni su strumenti storici hanno riscosso l’apprezzamento e l’approvazione dell’illustre organista M° Giancarlo Parodi per la solida tecnica esecutiva ed il raffinato gusto nella scelta dei registri.

Dal 2001 si è esibito in duo con il Soprano Barbara Frittoli, e con le prime parti delle più importanti orchestre del mondo: Fabrizio Meloni (clarinetto) – Teatro alla Scala, Massimo La Rosa (trombone) – Cleveland Orchestra, Steve Rosse (tuba) – Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Joseph Alessi (trombone) – New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Alessandro Fossi (tuba) – Teatro Comunale di Bologna.

Ha collaborato come Maestro Accompagnatore alle Masterclasses di Natale de Carolis, Giovanna Canetti, Luciana Serra e Bernadette Manca di Nissa, Julius Kalmar, Eros Sabbatani.

Ha inciso diversi CD  tra cui uno con il Trombettista Gabriele Cassone di musiche dell’ 800 eseguite con strumenti originali, uno dedicato a Bottesini, in duo con Ermanno Ferrari , primo contrabbasso dell’ “Orchestra Radio Svizzera Italiana” ed uno su 3 fortepiani storici dell’ “Accademia Bartolomeo Cristofori” di Firenze, contenente prime incisioni di brani di C. Ph. E. Bach e di Joh. Chr. Bach.

Pianista di grande sensibilità e temperamento, si è esibito in numerosi concerti in tutta Europa e Stati Uniti.

Nell’ ottobre 2013 ha tenuto la sua terza tournée negli USA durante la quale si è esibito sul grande organo Ruffatti 1971 della St. Mary Cathedral in San Francisco.

Dal 2003 è Maestro Accompagnatore ufficiale del concorso per ottoni “Città di Porcia” (membro FMCIM).

Parallelamente all’attività concertistica, si dedica alla ricerca, al restauro e alla collezione di strumenti storici a tastiera altrimenti destinati a scomparire.

He began his musical studies at a very young age. Student at the Conservatory “G. Verdi “in Milan, at nineteen he graduated in piano in the Maestro Alberto Colombo class.
He attended masterclasses and seminars held by M. Aldo Ciccolini, M. Vincenzo Balzani, Prof.ssa Shuku Iwasaki, M. Vladimir Ashkenazy and M. Sergio Perticaroli.
He graduated in “Fortepiano and romantic piano” at the prestigious International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, under the guidance of M ° Stefano Fiuzzi.

He conducted research on composers for “Italian organ” in 18th and 19th centuries, and especially on Padre Davide da Bergamo. His performances on historical instruments have gained the appreciation of the illustrious organist Maestro Giancarlo Parodi for solid playing technique and refined taste in the choice of stops.

Since 2001 he has performed in duo with Soprano Barbara Frittoli, with the first parts of the most important orchestras in the world: Fabrizio Meloni (clarinet) – Teatro alla Scala, Massimo La Rosa (trombone) – Cleveland Orchestra, Steve Rosse (tuba) – Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Joseph Alessi (trombone) – New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Alessandro Fossi (tuba) – Teatro Comunale di Bologna and with the American virtuoso violinist Joseph Gold.

He worked as collaborative pianist in the Masterclasses held by Natale de Carolis, Giovanna Canetti, Luciana Serra and Bernadette Manca di Nissa (singing), Julius Kalmar (orchestral conducting ), Eros Sabbatani and  James Gourlay (tuba).

He has recorded several CDs including one with the trumpet player Gabriele Cassone on 19thcentury music performed on original instruments, one dedicated to Bottesini, in duo with Ermanno Ferrari, first doublebass of the “Italian Swiss Radio Orchestra” and one on 3 historic fortepianos in the “Accademia Bartolomeo Cristofori” (Florence), containing first recordings of works by C. Ph. E. Bach and Joh. Chr. Bach.

Pianist of great sensitivity and temperament, he has performed in many recitals throughout Europe and  United States.

In October 2013 he held its third tour in USA during which he performed on the Ruffatti’s 1971 organ – St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco.

In the year 2000 he received a scholarship from “Oberlin College Conservatory of Music” (Ohio USA), and for several seasons he was Maestro Mario Del Ponti’s assistant during the specialization courses held by the “Oberlin at Casalmaggiore”.

Critics speak very highly of him. These are some comments which have been written about him: “extremely brilliant technique”, “ mature style”  (Tolzer Kurier – Germany), “the sound quality of Beethoven performed with a spirit which highlights his Mediterranean temperament” (Le Republican Lorrain – France), “ the profound emotional pathos comes through subtle dynamic contrasts, superb beat variations and a competent use of the pedal” (Los Angeles Times – USA).

Since 2003 he is official pianist in the International Competition for brass “Città di Porcia” (FMCIM member).

He is also dedicated to the research, restoration and collection of historical keyboard instruments.
