Jacopo Francini presents a new recording for Cello solo. A must have for all who loves Cello!

Although immensely distant historically and as musical language, I think you can find an affinity between two great composers such as Bach and Donatoni, for their great mastery and skill to use and manipulate musical material in a constructive process of elaboration.” Jacopo Francini
Jacopo Francini new recording Bach➠Donatoni is an interesting project for solo Cello that includes great classics such as ‘Suite No. 1’ by JS Bach, but also rarely performed and recorded masterpieces of the 20th Century as ‘LAME’ by Donatoni, ‘Sonata Op 28’ by Ysaye, ‘Girlanzana’ by Ibert. Recorded by Dario Caroli in the magical acoustic of the medieval church of St. Martin’s in Terzo d’Aquileia, the CD is accompanied by extensive notes by Jacopo Francini and Luca Cori and marks the debut of Jacopo Francini with Amadeus Arte.
